Yet another Queensland author. How talented are we! This one is a racy action thriller in the style of Lee Child or Matthew Reilly. Jay Ryan is a skilled interrogator, respected by his peers. But then he is drugged and kidnapped, forced to reveal priveleged intelligence secrets about the Israeli agency Mossad that could further destablise the Middle East and plunge the region into chaos. After escaping his captors, Jay discovers he is wanted for crimes he didn't commit and his father has been kidnapped by the intelligence agency Jay works for. He must work fast, with the help of secret agent Sarah Evans, to get his father back and avoid the Israeli agents ordered to eliminate him. This is fast, intense and full of great detail about interrogation. JJ Cooper served 17 years in the Australian Army, with two tours in East Timor and one in the Middle East in 2003. He served in the Intelligence Corps and specialised in Human Intelligence, specifically interrogation (both as practitioner and instructor).
